Today and over the coming weeks, you may notice crews working on the Bridge of the Gods as Port contractors complete installation of new sensors along the entire length of the bridge.

These advanced sensors collect real-time data on the bridge’s condition—such as movement, stress, and vibration—to help engineers detect potential issues early and ensure the long-term safety and integrity of the structure.

This work is part of a broader seismic analysis, preservation, and safety project made possible through funding from the Oregon State Legislature.
